Josephine Pon, Regional Manager of Multicultural Banking for Scotiabank, Prairie Regional Office

JPON_prof_photo_2 Josephine has worked in this position for over three years partnering with branches, VPs, and other internal and external stakeholders in the Prairie Region. She is responsible for providing direction/strategy, leading and managing the region to achieve the sales targets and goals in Multicultural Banking.   

Josephine was originally from Hong Kong and moved to Edmonton, Alberta with her family when she was a teenager.  In her spare time, Josephine loves cooking, dancing, reading and most importantly immersing herself in retail therapy (shopping).
Josephine will share :

* Her challenges and experience in developing a career path in the banking industry and in society as a female and a member of a visible majority
* Her story about being a new immigrant and how to gain recognition and acceptance in the community

Carmen will be speaking about Organizing Your Office So It Works For YOU.  She will also discuss time management, and consistency in organizing.  The information she shares is practical, useful, and tried-and-true!  Carmen will be providing a Q & A session, so come with your organizing questions!

Carmen Blair has always enjoyed the idea of being organized, but it wasn't until she became a single parent with four children that she converted her ideas into actions.  Now she is a Professional Organizer, owner of the company Dynamic Family Solutions, and will shortly be graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  Carmen believes that truly being organized must be unique and individual, and strives to understand each client's needs in order to customize solutions that will save them time and money.  She credits being organized to staying sane as a mother, and to having free time to enjoy spending with her children.  She is a proud member of the Professional Organizers of Canada.
